Amanda Brugel
Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 (February 27, 2010) Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a quiet community situated on the West Island, which is part of Montreal's island. People who aren't familiar with they mistakenly believe the West Island extends westward from Montreal. In fact, the West Island includes everything westward from Lachine. Lachine. Amanda Brugel is said to have been born on West Island. However, this is not true. Brugel grew up in Courtice close to Oshawa Ontario. She had a dream to become a dancer, but an increase in her height meant she was able to outgrow the dancers she was with. In an article published by the Toronto Star that she is 6'1" tall when wearing heels. After I outgrew the male counterparts, I resigned. The former dancers usually turn into acting which is what Brugel did. A drama teacher at her high school pushed Bruce in the direction she needed. She was a teacher at the time who advised her to go after a role in the school's annual production. Following a trial it, she was cast as the lead for Anne of Green Gables. This resulted in a Fine Arts Talent Scholarship at York University where she attended the Theatre Program which she graduated with an Associate of Fine Arts degree in the year 2000. Since then, Brugel's been involved in more than 60 productions, both with big screen and smaller ones. Her most significant recognition when she landed her part as Rita for the show that won awards. television show The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel is the only Canadian actor on the show in Season 1 and only appeared occasionally.
